20 ‘Found’ Perception Slogans

1. Let experience be exactly as it is — nothing added, nothing removed.

2. Meet perception before you divide it into seer and seen.

3. Movement reveals the natural state; don’t hold still to find it.

4. What arises, liberates itself — don’t interfere.

5. Openness is not produced; it is recognised.

6. Clarity comes from allowing, not controlling.

7. Return to the immediacy you are already in.

8. Let the world show itself without forcing it to make sense.

9. Responsiveness is natural when grasping relaxes.

10. Perception is relational — let it be a meeting, not a possession.

11. Interrupt the story that says you are the centre.

12. Nothing is outside practice; daily life is the path.

13. Trust the rhythm of forgetting and remembering.

14. Do not mistake calm for truth, or chaos for obstruction.

15. Let presence be spacious enough for difference.

16. You do not need to fix what arises — witness its self-release.

17. Beneficial practice transforms relation, not performance.

18. Let meaning emerge from encounter, not imposition.

19. Perception is incoming, not outgoing.

20. See how perception finds you — this is found perception.

Note: “See how perception finds you — this is found perception.”

# It reverses the usual direction of looking. Instead of you reaching out to grasp the world, the world is already arriving, touching, presenting, offering itself. Perception is incoming, not outgoing.

# It dissolves the subtle “perceiver” position — you are within perception, not standing behind it. If perception finds you, then “you” are not the source of awareness, but part of its unfolding.

# It reveals relational ontology directly. Perception is co-emergent — not a private act, but a meeting. You are a location of contact, not a sovereign observer.

# It is found perception = perception before appropriation. [Longchenpa]: awareness does not come from you — experience self-arises.

And when perception finds you, relation becomes the teacher. Not effort, not improvement, not correction — relation. This softens everything: ego, hierarchy, violence of interpretation.
